How do you dry resin and how long does it take

  1. What type of resin? There are a lot of dental resin materials.

    Do you mean white filling material? If so, it doesn't 'dry' it cures. Exposure to a high intensity light cures (that blue light your dentist uses) cures the material in a matter of seconds. However, exposure to regular sunlight over a period of time will also cure the material, just more slowly.

    If you are talking about acrylic resins, they are usually a chemical cure. Meaning there is a base and a catalyst. When the two combine they will set.
