My fiance gave me some beautiful roses for our engagement. They didn't last long though. Now I'd like to remove the petals and dry them to make them into a lasting decoration.

How should I dry them?

  1. Hang them upside down til dry ;)))

  2. Ah, I've done that with all the roses my DH has given me over the years... got a big vase full now.

Just remove the petals and lay them out on screens or newspaper to air dry, then drop into a jar or box.  If you want, you can add other ingredients to turn them into potpourri: e.g.

  3. Don't remove the petals at all. Hang the entire rose upside down for a few weeks. The result is really pretty. I dry all my flowers this way.

  4. keep them in a book that u dont use they will dry up...easily but take them out of the book so that they dont dry up completly! congrats on the eng:-)
