  1. There are several ways.  Here's what I've done.  If the leaves/stems are damp, blot with a paper towel.  The simplest is to lay them stems and all, on a paper towel, one layer thick.  Keep them in a dry area of the house.  It will take several days, depending on your weather/humidity.

You can lay them on a paper towel in the microwave and nuke them.  Start with 15-30 seconds, and go from there.  Keep close watch, as they burn easily.

You can put several bunches together, twisting a rubber band around the bottom (thickest) part of the stem.  Then attach to a hanger with a clothespin or twist tie.  Make sure the bunches have space between them, to get good air circulation.  Hang in a dark, dry area (garage, closet, etc.)  This also takes several days.

If you want to try to twist them to burn, let them lay out for a day, then they'll be limp and pliable.  You can twist or braid them without the stems breaking.  Then dry, as above.

  2. I would think you'd take a stem and hang it upside down, like you do roses.

  3. I just pop mine in the clothes dryer. It works like a charm.

  4. Pull off the leaves and wash them and let them lay on a cookie sheet until they are dry.

  5. Wash & rinse & pat dry, then put on baking sheet in a 200 degree oven, check after an hour then every 30 min. till how you like them.
