  1. Ask your Dr. for a shot.

Breast milk is very valuable. Perhaps you can donate your extra milk for use by someone who is ill. Contact the La Leche League www.llli.org

  2. Go slowly!  Reduce a feed or pumping time.  It will be painless if you go slowly.  I just did it recently and dried up comfortably within 4 days.  Mind you I didn't produce as much as you have.  It could take 2 or 3 weeks.  Good luck!

  3. I got pills from my doctor, and they worked really well.

Talk to your doctor for suggestions.

  4. Well a doctor told me it takes up to five years for a womans milk to dry up. You would have to stop feeding and pumping all together your breast will swell up and this is painful trust me I know. They'll get so hard you can break a brick wall down with them. So if your not ready for all this pain keep pumping milk cause once you stop all together let's just say I hope you got a lot of pain pills....good luck with this one:)

  5. with me i couldn't breast feed with both my children so i was told to wear a really tight sports bra, don't touch the nipples, and don't put warm water on them that will cause more milk flow.  and it will help to put ice packs on them because it will start to hurt and get hard

and do not pump anymore milk

  6. Stop pumping. I know they don't give medicine out anymore for drying it up.  My doctor suggested that you get heads of cabbage the size of your breast, freeze them, and put them so they are cupping your b*****s.  It will help with the pain and hardness you'll get.  But if the pain becomes unbearable and you have a fever call your dr right away.  You might get infected easily.
