U cant. they took that glitch out when they made it. you can only clone in gold and silver sorry.

There is a way to clone pokemon (especially the ones in crystal) in pokemon stadium 2 so here it is:

1) Go to Pokemon Lab in White City with any game in the transfer pak (this includes crystal) saved in a pokemon center and select that game from the selection.

2) Go to the PC in the lab and see a list of pokemon by selecting something similar to SEE PKMN LIST and select GB Box and N64 Box (Don't deselect the party) then select OK or something similar.

3) Move the pokemon you want to clone into any N64 Box and save.

4) Go back to the list with GB Boxes and N64 Boxes selected (Don't deselect the party).

5) Move the pokemon you moved before in step 3 from the N64 Box to the Party or GB box.

6) As soon as you press A on SAVE AND QUIT or something similar, count 3 seconds starting at "0" and take out the game pak used in the pokemon lab as soon as you say "3" (or when 3 seconds are over). Don't worry about "The Transfer Pak is not set properly blah blah blah blah" screen, that is normal.

7) Put the game pak back in (after you blow on its slot without spitting) and turn on the game again.

8) Repeat Step 1 except you select the same game you used for the cheat.

9) Repeat Step 2 (If the cloning cheat worked, you should have one pokemon in the specified N64 Box and its clone in the Party/specified GB Box)

10) Group your cloned pokemon's species to see that they both have the same info (Stats and everything) by selecting the pokemon that was cloned and select GROUP "Pokemon species name".

NOTE: If you did step 6 wrong, there are 2 possible results: The pokemon you want to clone is gone, or it stayed but is still in N64 Box or Party/GB Box un-cloned.

NOTE 2: You need Pokemon Stadium 2 with a transfer pak with any pokemon red/blue/yellow/gold/silver/crystal game pak inserted in the transfer pak in order to do this cheat. This cheat works in all versions of pokemon used in the Game Boy Color.

NOTE 3: This cheat may be hard, but you'll eventually get it.
