How do you dust furniture that has little tiny crevices that collect dust?

If you don't keep up with it, the dust accumulates and appears like grey streaks. I've tried Q-tips, but they're too thick. A toothpick is too sharp. Any suggestions?

  1. We have a lot of furniture like that.  I use a boot brush for all my textured furniture and knicknacks.  It's softer than a toothbrush so it's easier to use.  You could also use the brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner.

  2. How about an old tooth brush?

  3. a vacuum with a brush attachment usually works.

  4. soft brush. Toothbrushes are usually too stiff and can scratch wood.
