How do you dye hair pink?

My niece wants to put a pink streak in her hair or dye the ends pink. She has dark blond hair and I am wondering if we would have to bleach it first? I don't want her hair coming out an ugly shade she won't be happy with. Where can I find instructions/help?

but if its just one streak you could just redo it when it starts to fade pretty easily

If you want a dark pink not bleaching her hair might be fine, but if you want it vibrant, you would need to bleach it

My advice is to maybe get it professionally done

Go to Sally's beauty and look at there Bright colors such as pink, blue, purple etc. and get the kit. It bleaches and deposits color all in one process I find it works the best. ( I forgot the name brand) It will be in the color section.

Yes, you need to bleach it to hold the color and make it richer.
