  1. Tea bag is pretty easy to use. just soak it with water, then, starting with the edges of the paper, dab and rub the tea on the paper. you can go over certain spots a few times to make it darker. The best thing is, it doesn't have to look perfect! Just have fun with it.

  2. yes that will work and also you can burn the edges too

  3. tea will work i have done it an hgtv have shows that show you how

  4. Every ones answers above me are great ideas and I thought maybe you could crumble up the paper a little before you dye it to get that veiny old world look. And burning the edges really gives it that look or tear the edges.

  5. Boil coffee or tea, the darker, the better. Use a tray large enough to hold the paper in. Fill the pan about 1/2 to 1inch. Let the paper sit there and soak. Once it gets to the color you desire, take it out and blow dry it. If you really want a worn out, old look. Try burning the edges with a lighter. Just hold the lighter close enough to the paper, where the flame tip barely touches it. And if you burn holes in the middle of the paper with the lighter, it will really look old. Just hold the paper flat, and hold the lighter under it. It will first create dark brown spots then a hole will appear. I did this for many projects in high school. Good Luck!!

  6. Yes you put coffee in a pan and add cream acording to how light you want it- but dont make the mistake I did and make it as light as I want the paper to be- make it darker than what you want the color of paper to be. Also use a lighter burn the edges and don't make the entire page the same color, make it lighter and darker in some spots and dont over use the mathes.

  7. not really a dye more a stain....

      mix up some tea bag with hot water, and leave the paper  in a flat tray for about , 30 secs....

      let it dry .

      then use coffee. do the same thing

      when it drys  , burn the edges with a lighter......

        it will look cool

  8. Place it in a nice, bright sunny location (indoors).  The back deck of your car is even better if you park outside.  Wait one month or more--instant antiqueing.
