How do you earn money in PvP on Guild Wars?

It is much more difficult to get gold from PvP victories than it is from PvE. It can be done, but it is perhaps the most difficult way to acquire gold.

The easiest way is earning faction. You can swap 5000 faction for a Zaishen Key at the Tolkano NPC. You can sell Zaishen Keys to other players for anything up to 5000 gold each to other players.

Winning the Hall of Heroes in Heroes' Ascent will give you various rewards that you can sell, including the Miniature Ghostly Hero, Crystalline Swords and other rare weapons, superior runes, Flames of Balthazar, and Celestial Sigils. However, winning the Hall of Heroes is quite difficult for someone starting out.

i dont think there is a way other then trading stuff to people for money
