How do you eat a taco?

I want know how people eat a taco without spilling out all the ingredients and get all messy.

i eat soft tacos cause im cool like that. on those you just fold the end.

The messiness is part of the glory of the taco!

I hold my taco at one end, and turn my head to the side to bite it.

It's inevitable that it will spill out, so just eat it over a plate, or the paper and go for it! BTW: soft tacos are MUCH less messy than crunchy tacos.

Real tacos (as opposed to what Taco Bell thinks they are) use soft tortillas. I fold one end up a bit and grub. Easy.

Oh, and lots of salsa.

Ya know what? Eat a taco salad, no mess and you have no spills, you get it all. And if you break up chips in it, it tastes just the same as a taco. Happy eating!!!!!

Its easier to do when there's less filling inside. You just have to be extremely careful and try to work more on top before you bite the bottom (where the fold is), since that's pretty much what's supporting all the insides from falling.

Rather than trying to carefully eat the taco, a better solution would be to have your tacos with tortilla chips on the side. The taco shop that I go to gives them out for free. When I'm done with the tacos, I scoop up all the spilled leftovers with the chips and eat it like a dip. Just make sure the taco filling lands on the plate and not on you!
