  1. There are many different ways to do it on photoshop, but here is how I do it...

    1. Select only the bubble 9using either the lassoo tool or the magic wand)

    2. Go to "Select; Inverse" on the top bar.

    3. Go to "Image; adjustments, hue/saturation"

    4. Click show preview, then choose "selection" under where the preview comes up.

    5. Pull the saturation bar all the way down to the left.

it will make everything black and white, except for your "bubble"

Did you get it? if not, post any questions!

  3. try photoshop or try picture editing software. hope this hepls

  4. You will need an image editor of some sort in order to do this. You may already have something like Photoshop or Photopaint for this purpose. If not, you can download a free program called GIMP:

    http://www.gimp.org/

The following instructions are how to achieve this effect using GIMP:

    1. Open the image you want to edit.

    2. Select the area you want to remain in color. If this is something with a simple geometric shape (such as a bubble) you can use the elliptical selection tool, otherwise you can use the scissors tool.

2.1. If you used the scissors tool, join the ends of the selection border and then click inside the area when you're done to convert to a selection.

    3. Go to Select -> Invert to invert the selection.

    4. Go to Tools -> Color tools -> Hue/saturation.

    5. Drag the 'Saturation' slider down to the bottom (or you can type -100 in the corresponding box).

    6. Press the 'OK' button.

    7. Save the image (or use save as if you don't want to overwrite the original color image).

That's all there is to it. Other image editing programs will have similar selection and saturation tools which are used in more or less the same way. They also have other powerful editing capabilities that can be used to do many interesting things to your photos or to create new images.

  5. Read this tutorial on how to do the exact thing you want to do:
