How do you edit already animated .GIF's?(change the colors/etc)

Don't give me an answer saying "you can't"

I know you can because I have seen it done!

So how do you do it?

Is there like a certain program?

Yes you do need a program, I recomment:

-Adobe Photoshop

-GIMP

-Paint.net

- Others you can google it? (I've only used the 3 above)

Basically if you ant to change the colors of an animated GIF you have to open it in a photo editing program. Then change every frame the same way (or which ever frame you want to change). After that you have to animate it all over agian.

It's pretty easy if you have a simple GIF or if you don't want to edit it too much. But if it's really complicated, then i suggest you get yourself ready for lots of editing...

if you have photoshop or paintshop pro, there may be option th export layers to frames into imageready or animation shop, some versions do have extended tools, some do not,
