How do you edit the rosters on the Madden 08 (Yes, Madden 08!) for pc?

How am I able to edit the rosters of teams in Madden 08 (for pc) to reflect the trades and players that have switched teams this year? I do not have Madden 09 as it is not available for pc. I wish to edit the rosters in Madden to reflect the many changes that have happened during the offseason. Thank you in advance for your help!

Look man, i just downloaded tha 09 update for madden 08 pc. the link is at tha very bottom.... i think it is tha first or second link to download(it says Aug 18 at 3:42). u download it, unzip it wit winrar, and go to my documents, madden 08, and then paste it in tha rosters folder. when u go to play tha game -- trust me, it should be in tha file option so u could upload 'NFL 2009' roster.....be careful, some players are overrated though...im a madden junkie, so i went to tha Madden 09 player ratings (googled it) and fixed all tha overrated ones -- took me an hour but now i have 09 for PC!!!!!!!  Mcfadden is raw as h**l!!!!! and if you want Favre, download tha first link and he is on tha jets!!!! i know i wrote a lot, but it worked for me.....  [e-mail] if you have any ??'s man

    if you don't have a controller, i strongly recommend logitech dual action (basically ps2 & 3 controller) or a microsoft 360 for pc controller... they work and tha buttons are tha same...
