Question:

How do you edit videos?

I'm trying to make a video on my digital camera. It's about 5 minutes long right now, but I screwed up at the end. I don't want to have to re-record the whole video. Can I make a second video and splice the two together, cutting off the part where I messed up? How do I do that?

Thanks!

  1. i use windows movie maker for my videos.

Then there is the picture package program I got with my handcam, and it allows me to edit one video at a time, no merging two together though. Most computers have windows movie maker on them, does yours?

  2. You just need a video editor to help you edit video. It can help you splic and cut video.

  3. Yup.What you can do is record the 2nd video, and when you get to Windows Movie Maker, you go to the frame where you want it to cut off,and press "split."Then you delete the 2nd segment from the split (because that's the one you don't want) and put the new video in there.

  4. You can easily do this with Windows Movie Maker which you already have if you are using a PC.
