How do you edit your status on myspace?

It usually says (Frenchie is in your Extended Network) I'm just using Frenchie as an example, it varies for everyone. But mine has a swear word in it, I stuck it in there one time when I saw that you could edit it. Now, I want it taken out and I can't figure out how to edit it again! (I forgot)

Well, if your using the newer layout, in the status box, it will have a link the says "Update" and then just click on that link, and type in your status and/or select a mood.
