I understand how to email using my group name, i.e. Friends, but I do not know how to do that, minus one or more names in that group, because the names do not show, only the group name.

  1. I use Windows Live Email - the newest version of Outlook Express, I guess. When I put a group into the "to:" slot, it has a little "+" next to it. If I click on that, all the group members' emails will come up in the box, replacing the group name. i can then delete the names I don't want to send to! I don't know that this was an option before I started using Live.

  2. I think you are talking about the group in your Contacts rather than a yahoogroup. If you have a group name set up in your contacts and you have that in the To: or CC: or BCC: lines all members will be sent the email. You cannot exclude one or two.

You can, of course, go into your contacts and edit that group to remove these few.
