Hate it! There is no such thing as a European people or nation that could give the EU a democratic basis. Democracy means government by the people, the "demos" in Greek. It means people choosing their own rulers and deciding their own laws. The EU by its very nature is anti-democracy, after all the only people with any power is the unelected, undemocratic corrupt, European Commission...

Here they hate everything and everybody but they want every body to exploit them, so, this is the problem with the British life... Basically, they hate Europe but they need it badly for the 1 million tourists a month it brings...They also love cheap workers but hen they hate you live here and you don't speak with the "funny" accent, they love you pay taxes, but don't dare to go to a Hospital. They speak about integration and they even call french or german, or spanish to be "monkeys"... And so on... Interest and hipocresy plus confort and hate at top level.

This is why people love America and the Flag and here nobody cares at all for the country, you have the sensation that you are just a number for taxing bills.

They have 40 years being flooded with Arabic and Indians and they complaint about Europeans...Now?, funny...Having in consideration 300 000 English had bought houses in Spain... for example, they call control what is simply a common normative for all the countries...

I mean finally, for them, it doesn't matter the topic...they hate.

Europe to destroy the Isle?, funny... The illegal wars of England, that May do it.

We should opt out, the EU is to stupid for our membership & it costs millions of pounds a year to be a member, waste of money, MEPs wont agree, for them its easy money.

I have been many times to the UK and the Europeans are not their problems. They welcome everyone from Asia even though they will try to kill them after wards. How stupid can they be?

i want no part of it at all.  its corrupt waste full unaccountable and wants too much control. its open border policy  cannot work to the good. it will destroy this island.  thats if it isnt allready too late.

Stuck with it, rubbish laws and over riding many of our own Parlimentary laws establishd for centuries and the rights of the common folk. Stupid, due to the investment made to come out with a bizarre and stupid change. Ridiculous trying to convert everyone to a single currency when our own is so powerful it would wipe billions off savings and investments. Unworkable in some cases as the Union favours the poorer countries with outmoded and defunct industry over a thriving and growing one.

And those are just some of the main gripes.

Even what's inside our British passports has to be their d**n business.

Fact of the matter is, we don't have a say on issues affecting the EU, from the EU constitution to EU enlargement.  

We are hated by the rest of EU as much as we hate it.  We are as remote as our influence in the EU.  

The EU is flawed.  I hope this country leaves as soon as possible.
