I'm a broker of Health, Life, and Disability Insurance.

However the responsibility to carry out the care plan activities truly falls on the Individual Carriers.

In Michigan (as with all other States in America) the Carriers need to file with each individual state (usually the Office of Financial Insurance Services i.e. OFIS) that they're approved to do business in, that they're able to financially fulfill their obligations to their respective subscribers.
