How do you enter the security code on a 04 colorado radio?

I bought a factory radio off of e-bay. When i installed it, the display said to enter security code.

I had the same problem with my Honda Accord. The battery had died and it reset the radio. Had to enter the security code to get it work again. Its a '91 Accord, and i bought it used of course, so didnt have the code. Called Honda dealer and they helped out. Hope this helps.

If you mean how do you find your radio code so you can sign up for satellite radio all you do is tune in one of the satellite bands (xm1 or xm2) and tune the radio to channel 0 the info screen will read  Radio ID and then give you the number you need.
