  1. Oooh, been there, had the frustration!  Firstly, my sympathy!

I suggest that after you've made a reasonable attempt to erase the ink, quit.  Don't destroy the paper it's written on.  What I've done in similar circumstances is to make a decoration out of the spot.  Once I had a pen and ink drawing of kiwis (the bird, not the fruit), and just as I was finishing, my pen plopped a nice big drop of ink right onto the paper.  I blotted it up as best I could, then when it was dry, I used acrylic paint and painted a kiwi egg over the spot.  Then I added some more kiwi eggs in other places on the page, to balance it.  It ended up a better drawing than it would have been had I just gone with the simple pen and ink.

So I suggest putting some kind of decoration over the spot, and if it looks out of place, then add more decorations in appropriate places to make it balance out graphically.  Also, bear in mind the nature of whatever it was that your brother used to mark up the page. Be sure that the medium you use will cover his marks.  You might want to do a test on another piece of paper to see how the different media react over one another, and give it all sufficient time to dry.  Sometimes some inks can bleed through things like acrylic paint or markers or whatever.

    Good luck!

  2. most pens will not come off try to use whiteout instead if you don't have any try usin a normal pencil eraser. they work sometimes. they can at least make the line lighter
