  1. Even if you delete the entries in the search bar (like a previous answer stated using the delete key), the new google search toolbar is going to come up with new suggestions.

If you no longer want to get the suggestions from google, right click on the entry box.  A drop down menu will appear.  At the bottom of this menu is an option to "show suggestions" and it will be checked.  Click on it and the check will disappear and google will no longer give you all those pesky suggestions.

Right above that option is one to clear search history.

  2. in mozilla firefox

    -go to the tools option

    -click on it

    -click on clear private data

-choose all the options and click clear private data

    in internet explorer

    -go to tools

    - click on internet options

    -click on clear history

  3. ah, i just asked this question like three days ago. people gave me every sort of answer imagineable. truth is, all you have to do is type in a letter to bring up a corresponding search name that you want to delete, then hit the "delete" button on your keyboard. for instance, if you want to erase the word "f**t", hit "f", then the words starting with "f" pop up and you can delete them by highlighting and hitting "delete"

  4. click the drop down arrow beside the search box of Google and click 'Clear History' at the bottom of it.
