How do you explain colors to people who are blind?

good question, i know of no way possible.

since they are not oriented with color p***e then you will be needing to use other stuff to describe it to them something they are familiar to.. like sound... taste,,, touch and most importantly FEELING..

red - hot

blue - wet and cool

white - ice

yellow - the feeling of sun on your face

green - the feel of grass  etc......

Don't know if it would work but blind people are more tactile ( see with their hands) so it might work read 'Helen Keller '
