How do you express to someone you love what you feel for them?

without using the word "I love you"

it's such a cliche in times.

What are some nice ideas to do!?

ur right, sometimes if ur so in love, u just can't seem to find the right words & that's why sometimes being quiet & looking into his eyes or hugging ur partner or doing him a thoughtful surprise is better than a thousand words or say it once "i love u" but let it come from the heart, no word from the heart is a cliche' ;)

Love can be expressed by acts of service or kindness...instead of by words , by deeds !

Also , sometimes a look or touch can say more than words....

Show them that you really pay attention to them (i.e. buy them or make them something they've always wanted...it could be something they've mentioned to you months ago)...

Basically do something really meaningful for them...like arrange for them to have a really nice relaxing day off, with perhaps breakfast in bed and a massage session or day at the Spa.....

I just recently bought my fiance this really nifty cook book that's meant for kids and I told her that it would be for our future children...she couldn't stop crying of joy and its not as cliche as saying "i love you"

Another time, she created this beautifully illustrated story/anecdote about our lives together (a mosaic of our life with funny rhyming commentaries)...a booklet that I will cherish forever :-)

If you really feel the words I LOVE YOU from ur heart, they wont never be a chiclé.

I am very direct about that......and i like so much to say I love you......to the persons I REALLY love.

For example.......I love many pple from this category...and i have no problem to say I live you to them. Actually I do it everydays, and they know that no one interest moves me to say that to them. It's only a feeling from my heart, and as i know them as persons, I know they will give the real value to it. There is nothing nicer that to say it to another persons.....if they really are loved ones for us. The words I love you with a warm hug and a kiss are enough
