  1. well, what i did when i rode the lochness monster at busch garedns europe was see if any kids younger than me rode, then see their reaction after the ride was over. If they think it rocked and weren't crying, try it out and don't forget to cheer yourself up by bringing friends and family on the ride with ya. I have more to say but i don't wanna over do it so...GL

  2. My suggestion is to simply work your way up.  In order to feel comfortable on big roller coasters, you have to start small.  As your adrenaline gets pumping from smaller rides, you'll feel more confident and willing to ride bigger and bigger rides until you finally feel ready to ride the ones all of your friends like.  Definitely convince yourself to try the big ride at least once.

  3. keep your eyes closed the first time you go on a roller coaster and then keep your eyes open the second time on the same coaster....

  4. Ahhh. another one of these situations. Friends liking roller coasters and you are the outsider. Well. the first thing you have to do is you be sure that you are willing to ride one. You may want to start on something mild and then work your way up. I first started on a moderate/intense coaster. I was in the same situation. I just did a little research on some rides just to prepare myself for what is to come. And I just stayed with the pack when standing in line. Basically I just was afraid of just sitting in the seat and waiting and waiting for the ride to start and the drop. But once the drop was over, I started to have fun. Well have fun no matter what your decision is.

  5. I face my fear of roller coasters by not going on them. lol It works for me, but if you want to give it a go, I suggest you just do it without thinking about it. Put all thoughts of it out of your head until you are actually on it, then just try to enjoy it.

  6. Trust me, im one of the biggest chickens when it comes to rollercoasters, too. Im not one to talk, and you should take my advice, even though i cant. Try one, and maybe youll like it. Tell me if u do!

  7. I JUST faced my fear of roller coaster recently @ Islands of Adevntures. I don't know if this helps, but my friends pressured me into starting with THE scariest: THE HULK.  *don't be afraid to be afraid/nervous; it's part of the process. I talked a lot to relieve the pressure. Finally, we were on. I was really scared, and kept my eye closed the whole first ride, but when we got off...I wanted to do it again! You see, by starting with the worst one, nothing else seemed that bad. if you can do the Hulk, you can do almost any coaster. I am now over my fear of coasters, but believe me, I was totally hysterical before. But remember: if you don't feel you're ready, or you just don't want to, just say 'no'; nobody should pressure you into making this, or any decision. But I survived, and you will too. Whatever you do...have fun! Hope this helps! :)

  8. just get on it and close ur eyes and it will be done before u kno it but try to kepp them open cause  u will LOVE them

  9. Well...I am not so much afraid of roller coasters, but of heights! There is a ride called the Pitt Fall at Kennywood Park, I know it is not too high but it still is! Plus there was the Drop Zone at Paramount Kings Island which was three times as high. BUT I love these rides. I just think to myself before getting on "are my fears that insane that I would miss out on  great experiance?" or I just say the "The time with friends and the rush beats out my fear". These same things apply to roller coaster. Just imagine your friends they will be sad with out you, put your friends before your fears.

Trust me you are strong enough to leave your fear behind!

  10. Start with the least scariest roller coaster, you'll get scared in the beginning but after the ride you'll think it is really fun. Over time you'll be able to muster up more courage and ride more and more scarier roller coasters.

  11. It depends. If your friends is wanting you to go on it then i say give it a try but if you feel sick and don't want to go on it, DONT GO ON IT!
