  1. Get an eye dropper and go to the vets or pet shop and ask for some baby bird formula your feathered friend will love it!

  2. Hi,

If they're chicks then feed them on a mixture of chick crumb or egg food most good pet shops sell it.

  3. a small eyedropper with ground up bugs and worms

  4. I have over 500 of these quails buggers.  I had 70 hatch today!  They are independent!  If they are just a few days old, use a coffee grinder to make a flour like feed.  Place paper towel(s) on the ground or cage bottom...  spread around... they will find it.  After most find the food, put this ground stuff into your poultry feeder.  After a week, you will likely be okay without grinding using your typical game-bird feed.  If you are using pellets or chicken feed, continue to grind as needed.  Some pellets are just too big for baby quail.... or any quail for that matter.

Good Luck -  We raise and sell them!

  5. They will feed on their own, they will eat any bird seed as long as it is very small like canary or finch seed. Quails are very active birds so it is normal for them to run around alot. Make sure there is plenty of water for the quail, but not deep water as they can drown very quickly.I ise a dish with flat stones in the bottom so if my quails get in the water they can stand on the stones and not fall in deep water

  6. The quail will eat on it's own, you don't have to feed it.  Get some quail food from the feed store or if they don't have it, you can use chick starter.  You should have done some research first...
