How do you feel about Adam Dunn getting traded to D-Backs?

How in the world does it make the manny trade look like c**p. Oh maybe  u r right I would not want a .312 avg 32hr and110 rbis for two decnet prospects. How do u think that now the dbacks are set to the playoffs. All that made sure was that with hudson out they will be the most strikeout prone team in baseball. Dodgers NL WEST CHAMPS

As a Reds fan, you know I've been riding on getting Dunn out of town for years nows....the guy's just too lackadasical (as in no intensity in at bats and fielding at LF) and strikes out a ton especially in clutch situations....

but looking back, he's not that bad a hitter (just one that's too expensive for my reds and their payroll). His overall production numbers aren't bad and if he was on a team batting 4th and the 1st 3 guys had real good on-base percents, then this guy would be a very good rbi man. But it was a bad combination with him and griffey here in cincy. Only problem is that he stinks it up at times at the plate and in the outfield sometimes and then acts all entitled and spoiled like Griffey and gets hypersensitive to the local radio announcers, sports writers, and fans blasting him even though its rightly deserved.

i think it was a bad trade for the reds they have traded there 2 big offenseve guys ken and dunn ken to the white sox and dunn to d backs

but the bad thing was dunn was traded for 3 minor legue prospicts one of them is injured to comin of tommy john surgery

reds are royaly screwed

As a Reds fan...I'm happy. I've been exclaiming my desire for him to be traded for a few years now. His power and walks are great...but his Ks and defense aren't worth the contract.

Depending on who the TBD players are, they might not have gotten much back...but Buck has decent MiLB numbers and at least they got the contract relief.  Let the future stars begin to shine!
