  1. Even though it is hard to imagine now, I am sure we would feel very differently about the whole thing if faced with that situation as would they.

  2. Are you talking about Catholic priests?

  3. What do you think???

Before there got to be twice as many of them as there were of us, I used to delight in throwing them off the tier to crash on the cold concrete below.

Once, one clung so tight & snakelike to the railing, it took me over a minute to dislodge him and send him to his reward.

  4. I am more concerned about the survivor getting the proper help.  Why do people always focus on punishment of the perpetrator, s if this will some how magically help the survivor, and save that person from years of undeserved consequences.

It is as if people are more concerned about themselves then they are about the survivors, people want ot make themselves feel good by looking down on the perpetrator and wanting the perpetrator punished while thinking nothing of the survivor, noe of this helps the helpless child survivor.

So, one more time in the overzealous faux indignation of do-gooders who heap insults and punishment on the perpetrators without a thought to what helps the survivor the only thought being that these individuals assuage their own indignation by taking it out on the perpetrator.  so, one more time the objectification of the survivor is complete.

Molested by the perpartorator and taking the guilt and shame that rightly belongs to them and ignored by society who's only concern is punishment for the perpatrator, the survivor is mearly the object of -- a prop -- in this play between society who's goal is to objectify the survivor by ignoring him and focusing scorn on the perpatrator, and the perpatraor who asuuages his own guilt by heaping it on the survivor.

    And so it goes ...

And then there are those like this group, who are quick to forgive what they have not suffered, except fo linda j, get truama therapy you are  fooling yourself.

What Jesus said is that it were mbetter that a milstone be hung around their neck and that the perpatrator be cast into the sea, yes Jesus spoke directly of this sort of abuse, and the resulting scandal.

  5. id ask for their number

  6. They wouldn't be in heaven unless they TRULY repented their actions. God would know their heart and I trust HIM so if I saw such a person in heaven I would be fine with it. ALL people in heaven have sinned and repented.

  7. I was sexually abuse by my atheist father for many years and at one point he tried to kill me to keep people from finding out.

I tried to press charges on him but it was back in the seventies but considering he was a cop in the military...well it just didn't go very far.

I gave up on the idea and a few years later I got born again.

God has promised me that whatever we suffer here on earth will amount to nothing compared to what joy and splendor awaits us in heaven.

God has also promised me that He will in time deal with my father and I should even pray for my dad to get saved.

If I see my dad in heaven, what will it matter what he did to me on earth? Can I get my virginity back? My self esteem? No, not from Him, but from God He can restore all that has been lost. I may not be a virgin...but in God's eyes and now mine, I am as pure as the driven snow.

  8. if i was god i would never forgive him they deserve to be in h**l

  9. forgiveness is obtain while still on earth and it doesn't mean when you say i'm sorry you're already forgiven but you have to work for it.  do good things to cover it up, how big is your sin is, the good things you should do is much bigger than that.

  10. 1) By the definition of "heaven", I'd feel great.

    2) Anyone who harms someone suffers *immediately* an continuously without aid. The mental and emotional turmoil is torturous. There is no such thing as someone "getting away" with cruelty. Being sent to jail (or whatever is the social consequence) is one way to help the person purge themselves of this internal torment. That's why committing a cruelty and going unpunished is the worse thing that can happen to someone. If you truly hate someone who wronged you, wish that they are never caught.

  11. I do not think God will totally excuse our offenses.  We will be accountable for them.  Justice will happen.  If not in this life, then in the next.

13 Therefore, according to justice, the plan of redemption could not be brought about, only on conditions of repentance of men in this probationary state, yea, this preparatory state; for except it were for these conditions, mercy could not take effect except it should destroy the work of justice. Now the work of justice could not be destroyed; if so, God would ccease to be God.

14 And thus we see that all mankind were fallen, and they were in the grasp of justice; yea, the justice of God, which consigned them forever to be cut off from his presence.

15 And now, the plan of mercy could not be brought about except an atonement should be made; therefore God himself atoneth for the sins of the world, to bring about the plan of bmercy, to appease the demands of justice, that God might be a perfect, just God, and a merciful God also.

16 Now, repentance could not come unto men except there were a punishment, which also was eternal as the life of the soul should be, affixed opposite to the plan of happiness, which was as deternal also as the life of the soul.

17 Now, how could a man repent except he should sin? How could he sin if there was no law? How could there be a law save there was a punishment?

18 Now, there was a punishment affixed, and a just law given, which brought remorse of conscience unto man.

19 Now, if there was no law given—if a man murdered he should die—would he be afraid he would die if he should murder?

20 And also, if there was no law given against sin men would not be afraid to sin.

21 And if there was no law given, if men sinned what could justice do, or mercy either, for they would have no claim upon the creature?

22 But there is a law given, and a punishment affixed, and a repentance granted; which repentance, mercy claimeth; otherwise, justice claimeth the creature and executeth the claw, and the law inflicteth the punishment; if not so, the works of justice would be destroyed, and God would cease to be God.

23 But God ceaseth not to be God, and mercy claimeth the penitent, and mercy cometh because of the atonement; and the atonement bringeth to pass the resurrection of the dead; and the dresurrection of the dead bringeth back men into the presence of God; and thus they are restored into his presence, to be fjudged according to their works, according to the law and justice.

24 For behold, justice exerciseth all his demands, and also amercy claimeth all which is her own; and thus, none but the truly penitent are saved.

  12. I wouldn't be in Heaven myself if I didn't FORGIVE OTHERS.

  13. the world we live in today is built on hate, if someone does something to us we get them back and hate them. and that is not how we should live. we should forgive people nomatter what theyve done. someone has to be saved to get into heaven. and when we get into heaven i doubt we see each other as we do on earth. we get new bodies if im correct and we love each other the same. God bless

  14. On the day of judgement finger pointing with be useless.

  15. Heavens not like that, only joy

    tGod bless

  16. I don't know what you're talking about, but back in my Hometown, there's this kid, he's like 14 years old and goes by the neme Leonidas... he's like ******* spiderman. He climbs on ******* buildings and gets into apartments through windows. They even showed him on the telly. Police won't arrest him, even though they know him... they don't want to send him in some child-prison **** and **** him up.

  17. A molester/pedophile who is never bought to justice has gotten away with it.

As for those who insist that such a person would go to h**l, remember that according to your own religion all he has to do is confess to God (without nessecarily confessing to anyone else), and beg for  forgiveness, and it doesn't matter WHAT he did in life.  He's home free.  No justice there.

  18. I feel like pondering this question has little merit. It would be better to do what we can to see to it that child molesters are stopped in their tracks and locked away for life.

Focus on what you can do in the here and now.

  19. What pisses me off is a child molester can get a few years deferred adjudication probation and when he has has finished his probationary period no longer have to register and the crime counts as if it never happened. Yet a man can accidentally stumble into a child p**n site, neglect to report it to the feds and get two years in prison without parole and have to register as a s*x offender for the rest of his life when he never touched a child and wasn't looking for a child p**n site. Beware, big brother is watching.

  20. Forgive those who trespass against you, even your Father in heaven forgives you. For if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father in heaven forgive you. I trust the Judge of all the earth to do right. He and only He can deliver true justice. True justice does not exist on Earth. If it did then child molesters, rapists and murderers would be put to death for their crimes. Asking for God's forgiveness also necessitates repenting of sin and accepting the responsibility and consequences of your actions. It's a well known fact that child molesters defy rehabilitation. They almost always choose to continue in their evil deeds. This is an obvious sign they have not repented and have not been born again, which is the only requirement to enter heaven.

  21. there is no Heaven, but there is h**l

  22. The bible teaches that anyone who accepts Jesus as their saviour will enter heaven.  A child predator who hurts and kills children will be in heaven if they repent and accept Jesus. But a good moral person who has never done any harm and has done good their whole like will not if they reject Jesus.

NOT MY OPINION, JUST WHAT THEY BIBLE SAYS.

  23. If there is a heaven, everyone gets there own private one, so he can have his and you won't see him in yours.

  24. "Judge not lest ye be judged"  It is not up to me to decide whether a person gets into Heaven or not.  However, if they never went to jail, that's another story.  They need to serve their time while they're on Earth.  After death, it's up to the Lord...

  25. how do i feel?

    hmm, envious ..i guess..

  26. That's often God's will dear when the offender is a priest. The Church protects him and pressures the victims not to press charges....

    God bless ...

  27. I treat it like any injustice...count on karma to do its thing someday.

  28. If someone violated my children sexually, the only justice would be me killing them.  As far as heaven, they would not have the opportunity to ask God for anything.  Once a child molester allways a child molester.  I dont believe God would give someone like that the time.
