How do you feel about a seemingly unconventional wedding?

My girlfriend and I (she will be my fiancee in the next year or so) were talking about our wedding, and she wants to wear a purple corset top dress she designed for such an occasion. So i told her that if she gets the dress made then I'm wearing a white tuxedo of my design. And then of course we'll have orchids to compliment our outfits and all the love amenities but I'd like to know how you all think that would look.

Those may be unusual outfits; but it's your wedding, wear what you like.  What the couple wears is traditional, it's not written in stone.

It's not like you're planning to wear pink leotards or something like that...

I think it is YOUR wedding and you should both follow your hearts. It is  one day to celebrate and do it your way.   this is a sacred and one time day and so it should be a day you never forget and treasure always.  

It sounds beautiful......you will have to put pictures out for all of us to see!!!  How cool to be able to design your own!  You both must be very talented!
