  1. Actually we notice moderate levels of obesity less and less as they become more and more the norm. In general only the very obese now seem to attract any more than minimal attention.

  2. I think its a shame...just like the kids who have surgery because they are flat chested/nose mis-shapen etc. We are a society who ridicule the slightest imperfection and then condemn people who take drastic measures to fix it...We are what we are and we should be grateful that we have all our limbs/eyes to see etc and accept people for themselves not for what they look like.

  3. People judge to much on size but i concentrate on size if a persons personality coz as far as i am concern that's all that matters

  4. never follow a skinny person into a restaurant

  5. I think they're fat.

  6. This may not be what anybody wants to hear, but when I'm walking down the street and the way is blocked by an obese person, then I get more irritated that if it was by a healthy person. Sorry. That's just the way it is.

  7. overweight adults have done it to themselves so it doesn't bother my one way or another.  less than 5% of the population has endocrine problems that cause easy weight gain.  when I see obese children I want to slap the doo-doo out of the parents.

  8. yeah that is horrible, but it makes me mad when people get weight loss surgery, because i lost my weight with hard work, it just feels like their taking the easy way out, but i guess if it causes you major problems then you should do it.

  9. I think that im one.

    :(

  10. I don't have anything against overweight people but it does make me feel rather ill when i see a very overweight person gauging on a McDonald's. I think people overeat for a number of reasons which is why alot of it is psychological. Stress and depression can trigger people to overeat just like it can have the opposite effect aswell, People who cant control what they eat should have cognitive behavoural therepay to change their way of thinking, but only they can recognise they have a problem that needs to be addressed in the first place.

  11. I'm a bit undecided about what to think. Instinctively I think that weight loss surgery is increasingly becoming an easy way out for people who say they've tried everything yet I realise there are some people for who this is true and their weight has got to such an extent where surgery is the safest option for them.

Yet, I do have to question how did they let themselves get to that stage where life-threatening surgery is their only option and must ask about their self-respect. However, I completely do not agree that people are bullied about their weight. Whatever I feel about overweight people I would never treat them any differently nor would I ever broach the subject of their weight- it is their choice. But they have to take responsibility for that and the droves of obese people turning to surgery as a quick fix to sort out their lives shows this is not happening. They are quite happy to aportion blame to anyone but themselves quite simply for not having the common sense to see that by filling their body with c**p is going to have consequences.

Yet on the other hand, society as a result has become so so obsessed with weight that it is less of a personal body image as one which is compared to ever other female individual. People have learned to strive for a perfection that doesn't exist when they should be questioning whether they feel happy and healthy within themselves. I don't believe the phrase 'be happy with what you've got' because to be honest that doesn't help anyone. Surgery shows you can change it but so does eating the right foods and exercising which people nowadays tend to forget.

  12. I don't have anything against fat people as a whole ( and that's a big whole lol)

But I do have a problem when they think it's ok for them to make comments about me, i.e. call me anorexic or a skinny cow.

I also hate the ones who make excuses like "i can't exercise cos i don't have time"- obvious bullshit

Generally I think most of them are lazy, but I respect the ones that make the effort to lose the weight.

Are you on about that 15 year old who weighs 33 stone? That's effin' disgusting, parents who let their kids get that fat should be locked up. I mean, a man got locked up because his dog got fat, as it was classed as a form of abuse.

  13. She was definitely depressed about herself. I do think you can always exercise, no need for surgery.

Answering your question, I think about fat people the same as skinny people... You should never let yourself go onto extremes... Is just not beautiful. Eat healthily and exercise, don't worry about others comments.

Some people have abdominal problems which might bloat you and seems like your pregnant 1to2months but that doesn't concern others.  Is funny because to women you can think that but what about men with big belly's?:)

  14. personaly size is not a problem it is proberly puppy fat

  15. Personally i believe that's horrible that peoples words drove the poor girl to have surgery.Everyone needs to understand that you can make a GREAT impact on someones life with what you say.

Not everyone is meant to be thin, but they should try to eat right and take care of themselves.

There is absolutely no need to ridicule and make fun of someone because of there size.

I feel bad for the girl, and I hope she gets better and starts to feel good about herself :)

  16. well, they ate themselves into that name. i HATE to hear fat people complain about how people make fun of them and how they hate skinny people. instead of btching about it, GET ON A d**n TREADMILL!

  17. fat people need to stop having the glased donut ham sandwiches loaded with grease

not healthy but im skinny and that sounds good right now
