  1. I think they are ruining our society, our future generations, and our adults of the future.  I also think there are politicians making quite a bit of money in letting them get into the country.  It's a sad situation!

  2. Depends on the drug.

PCP, ketamine, cocaine, alcohol, methamphetamine = bad

LSD, psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, mescaline = good

  3. All stupid.

All of you people giving thumbs down to the people who are opposed to drugs and drinking are the ones with no job, no money to your name, no house, and no vehicle of your own.

  4. It's really none of my business what anyone else wants to put in their own body.  That goes for alcohol, nicotene, crack, or saturated fats.

I understand how the pro-life crowd can oppose recreational drugs, but how can it be "the woman's right to choose what to do with her body" when it comes to abortion, but not when it comes to recreational drug use?   Tattoos and piercings are okay, but recreational drug use is not?  Which is more permanent, and for that matter, more readily seen by other people?

If it's a matter of health risks to the individual, I'd say that motorcycles are far more dangerous than drugs. For that matter, most sports are, too.

  5. I feel that there should be more restrictions against cigarettes than marijuana, as it has worse effects.  To be honest, I think we have more things to worry about than a few potheads.  I realize that marijuana is considered a gateway drug, but if we cracked down on heroin and amphetamine dealers, then I believe we could avoid that issue.

As for drinking underage, I don't believe in it, but I believe there are worse things in life.

I also believe that marijuana should be legalized.

  6. There should be no such thing! In fact, all of the victimless crimes which ARE willful and blatant violations of the 9th and 10th Amendments of the Constitution should be repealed. 'Illegal' drugs should be regulated and taxed just like Beer and Cigarettes! We could regulate hookers just like Chiropractors. Just think of it: we could empty out the jails and prisons, free up thousands of otherwise USELESS dogs, vultures and maggots, er, Judges, Lawyers and Cops for military service (no need for a draft, ever!) and generate billions in new tax revenue! Yea, sounds like a plan...

  7. I think using illegal drugs makes you stupid.  Not stupid for using them, but the effects they have on you, impair clear thinking.  Furthermore many of them leave long lasting physical damage, not to mention emotional damage.

Smoking is just a social crutch that most of us embraced and found ourselves regretting later.  Face it even smokers accept it is a dirty habit.

  8. Cigarettes should have a 21 age limit.

Sometimes I think that the alcohol age limit should be higher.(I'm 21 so I see the drunk people climb into their cars and drive away.)

Underage drinking is unstoppable, unless you hold the adults more accountable, and no one is going to do that.

The punishment for the "softer" drugs should be lessened. (Marijuana, shrooms, ect)

Harder drugs should still be illegal, but the jail time for possession should be shortened. (Heroin, meth, crack, ect.) Its up to you what you do with your own body, untill you get caught with it. Then you get it taken away, and you get fined for having it. But not thrown under the jail for it.

The people making and distributing those hard drugs should be jailed for it though. The same as it is now.

I really think Marijuana should be legal though. The only reason it isnt is for tax reasons. Alcohol is WAY more destructive. I've never understood why they say Marijuana is the "Gateway drug" but alcohol is just as much a drug.

The government works in mysterious ways.

  9. The reason they are illegal is because they have a very bad effect on the person that is using them to the point of possible death and they have a very bad effect on society in general.  For example, if someone is drugged up and is driving a car, the chances of an accident are much greater.  More than likely he will kill someone else on the road.  Also, drugs are addictive and the user feels like they have to have another "fix."  Since drugs are expensive, the users often times resort to criminal acts including robbery and murder to get money with which to pay for their "fix."  It's a big problem for society.  The drug kings don't want to stop because it is a money maker for them and they could care less about how it affects anyone.  To them, drug users are a dime a dozen and if one dies, there is always another sucker to take their place.

There is no such thing as "so long as it doesn't affect anyone else."  It affects lots and lots of people.  Ask any victim of a home invasion or of a street mugging or a car jacking.  The effects of marijuana linger beyond the party night.  You could be driving days after the party and still be under the influence (your senses are impaired).

  10. i think that they are bad!

  11. "What business is it of yours what I do, read, buy, see, say, think, who I ****, what I take into my body – as long as I do not harm another human being on this planet?"

  12. I think illegal drugs in general are stupid

I also believe that drinking (too much) at ANY age is also stupid

The thing I really hate, however, are cigarettes

Not going to go into details though =/

  13. Yes, they are bad & to be avoided as they are very much habit forming.

  14. There shouldn't be such a thing as drugs.

  15. The fact is is that they do exist.whether or not you decide to do them.you have to acknowledge they do exist.whether they should be legal is an entirely different matter that deals with religion and politics.the best thing is to do what is socially acceptable by main steam society is what I find.but I have experimented and found drugs to be more - then+ in my life.but the great thing is you get to choose this is what we call free will.A God given choice.

  16. Taking illegal drugs is very unwise but I think that the "War on Drugs" has done more harm than good. It has lead some people to not getting the help that they need because they fear arrest. It has also caused the government to violate people's constitutional rights. Doing them is unwise but it should not be illegal.

  17. Underage drinking isn't so bad if it isn't TOO young and it is done with responsible people around. Most people DO drink underage at least once. Drugs I do not like.....except pot. It's really not so bad IMO

  18. Hate them all

  19. oh man are you opening a can of worms! LOL

Marijuana should be LEGAL. EVERYONE with common sense knows it. Meth is the real menace. We could make our cops heroes again by legalizing pot and making our cops crack down on the dangerous drugs. I would have a lot more respect for the police force if they would stop criminalizing good innocent people for smoking a flower!

I think the drinking age should be raised to 25. people are stupid as h**l, and until the drinking and driving death rate goes down the drinking age should be raised. it would be harder for kids to get it then, too. Drinking is FAR more harmful than pot- in every aspect of the word! Cigs are bad but if people want to kill themselves that's their business. (as long as they smoke away from doors like i do.) Smoking is a hobby of mine, but when i take my smoke break at work i am VERY respectful of the people around me. i know people hate the smell, and i respect that. But bars should be able to allow smoking. the smoking bans affect small businesses like bars and taverns in a harmful way. Applebee's should be smoke free, but Joe O'brien's Irish pub the sole proprietorship on the main street of some small town should have the option to allow smoking.

Legalize pot! that's all i have to say.

  20. ALL OF THOSESUCK! I don't know why ppl take them, others love them, OMG how can they

  21. Some drugs are just too much for the average person to handle. Coke, heroin, speed, these things legal would kill hundreds of thousands.

We are turning the cigarette smokers into pariahs. It will get to the point where they are so vilified they will quit out of shame.

Booze if one of the worst drugs but we already tried to ban it once and that didn't work out very well, so it's here ot stay.

Pot? Why is this drug still illegal?
