How do you feel about millions being spent on the DNC?

Don't you think that money could be spent on a medical clinic or a food bank or a homeless shelter.

I'm just jumping on the bandwagon - counting other people's money and assets.

The same as the money that will be spent on the Neocon Party...It was a choice to check the # dollar box for them, so let them have their party...Why, you don't like parties? They BOTH are going to have one!!

exactly the same way I feel about the vast amount being spent on the RNC.  I think it is a waste of money.

What is even more questionable is the mayor of Denver has told the police not to enforce the marijuana laws during the convention. Cause to ponder.

Don't forget all the mega bucks being blown on the GOP convention.... seems as if they could help out a few of those poor old struggling oil companies or maybe waste more taxpayer money on Death by Chocolate deserts

It's extremely wasteful, just like the RNC one will be, but since it comes from private donations, there's no way to say that those private donors would want to spend their money on a medical clinic, food bank or homeless shelter.

It's kind of a false comparison, and without coming out and saying it, you're implying that this somehow diverts funds, which is a dishonest implication.

Why the focus on the Democratic one?  Or is that because you don't think Republicans would ever donate to a medical clinic, food bank or homeless shelter?

It's disgusting on both fronts, but it's the nature of the beast.  The silver lining is that it will help the economy.

Sure it could have been. Being a republican though i'm glad the democrats waste all of their money on the convention. They always think they have it in the bag so they spend like there's no tomorrow and then the people who still support them come election time are too lazy to vote.
