  1. You are mistaken. We are paying more at the pump because of the democrat party's obstructive legislating on requirements for exploration, recovery, and refining of crude oil and petroleum products for 40 years.

  2. An incorrectly asked question, if ever there was one.  But on face value alone, it I interpret as a perfect example of two commonly held misconceptions.  First off, windfall profits taxes go to the Federal Government coffers, not Alaska, the oil companies, or any other source.  We, the consumer, pay for this and all other taxes levied on ANY business as an increase in price of the goods you purchase.. Some politicians obscure this reality by telling you, " taxing them more will make things more fair, but in reality, you get to pay the"hidden" tax.  This historical and predictable example bait and switch, is directed to the masses who don't, or won't expand their knowledge of the facts.  One of many emotionally generated issues, purely political, endlessly drilled(no pun intended)  into the heads of the misinformed.  Secondly, Palin is on record as one who uses tax revenue wisely and not likely to be expressed in the mainstream media.  If using predictable and guaranteed Democrat schemes(plan) by a Republican is wrong, then it must be wrong for the Democrats also.

  3. Maybe we should take over another oil producing nation. Then gas prices would be 10$ a gallon......

  4. We pay extra for everything at the pump.i have not heard one thing about this until you people found out McCain's VP was Governor of Alaska!! You people are something else.

  5. i prefer paying alaska than paying al qaeda

  6. Alaska has the highest gas prices in the nation.  Palin along with 70% of America wants to drill now.  Democratic politicians aren't for the people, that's why they are against it.

    Nice rant.

  7. Actually, if you consider the existing oil pipeline and the proposed natural gas line - who's really supporting whom here?
