I'm not very fond of it, but not sure how to tell people that it bothers me without looking like a witch. How do you feel, and has this happen to you and what did you do. Thanks :) Oh and please no rude answers.

  1. when i was pregnant i didn't like it when they just came up to me and touched my stomach.  when they asked i felt more comfortable about it

  2. im only just starting to show and i already dont like people touching my tummy and lifting my shirt its really annoying..(except for my partner.)

  3. i hate it, this is my 3rd  baby and i hate it i just grin and bare it though most of the time but when strangers try to i move straight away and just say i don't like people touching me sorry (i dont care if they think i am rude) but family i just get on with it i will say after a min or so sorry baby sleeping and pull away its my body they would never normally touch you in that way ohhh  i hate it its creepy

  4. I LOVE IT!

...Wait is this question just for pregnant people?

  5. I personally didn't mind as long as they were friends or family.  I don't think I would want complete strangers or acquaintances to run up to me constantly and touch my belly.

I do think people should be considerate though and I would NEVER just touch somebody's pregnant belly without asking first.

  6. It feels funny wen people feel my tummy bt i dnt mind. im 32 weeks prego and i lyke see other peoples reactions wen my baby moves. if you dnt lyke people touching ur tummy jst tell them it feels weird. i do thats wen im not in the mood 4 people 2 touch

  7. My bump is starting to get big now, so it has only happened to me a couple of times... I really don't mind it.. They mean well! And its my first baby after my m/c, So I really feel blessed to be able to experience this!

I personally wouldn't say nothing to your mother-in-law she would probably feel quite hurt if you said anything to her.. She is just excited and is looking forward to her new grandchild.. As you said just ''Grin and Bear it'' because she means well!

I totally understand.. its your body and if you dont like it then thats your choice... But every grandchild is special and I dont think that the excitment wears off as more kids come along!  My own mother is very excited to have another grandchild on the way and she already has 8 grandchildren!

But its totally up to you!

  8. I don't dislike it, but this pregnancy it's a bit weird (its only happened twice) because I put on so much weight with the last kid, I am very overweight, and I know the stomach they are rubbing is mostly fat and the baby is buried under probably about 6 inches of lard. So yeah, its weird.

  9. When i was pregnant i hated it

I liked my partner touching my belly and that is it

I found that even random people started to touch my belly when it was getting to the massive stage and it pissed me off

Just let her know it makes you feel uncomfortable

When people asked me to touch my belly i always said i would rather they didnt

I was moody though and i didnt care lol

  10. i only like it when my husband touches my tummy.

anyone else, and i take a step back and say "sorry, it makes me uncomfortable. I promise you'll get a cuddle once he's out"

  11. I'm not that big right now, but i don't think I'd like it, unless I was trying to have someone feel the baby move...
