I have a problem with it being called a marriage.

I'm happy about it.  One of my best friends just got married.  We live in CA.  I'm happy for anyone who isn't harmful to others.  They just want happiness in their lives.

if the couple are in a loving and committed relationship, then why not? the first same s*x marriage in california was between two women who had been together since the 1950's. that's longer than most heterosexual couples are together these days!

Marriage is a union between 2 people, not man and woman.
