How do you feel about switching to 5k in CT?

Connecticut is switching to 5k instead of 4k this year (girls). I'm not sure if I like this or not. I don't know what times I should get... For a 4k my fastest was 17:22. What should I run this year?

http://www.runnersworld.com/cda/training...   this give you an estimate on your times...if you stay at your level it puts you at a 21:58 time, but with practice im sure you can lower it. changing the distance might be kinda fun...you might be better at longer distances. good luck and have fun!

5k is more of a standard running leagth for hs runners. this way its closer to running like 3 miles. you might find it easier to pace yourself. good luck!
