  1. they are the favorites, and they have a better chance then those sorry *** lakers

  2. Depends on if Tony Allen (or another wing) can fill Posey's absence.  I agree with the Celts not resigning Posey at his price, and hopefully Doc will give Eddie House some regular minutes next season (though he can't do what Posey did).  However, I think they round out the roster with some last-minute, FA, cheap signings and have a good chance of at least making the finals.

The bigger issue is Ray Allen and whether or not he can be a strong contributor the whole season and during the playoffs.  Eddie fills the shooting role, and Tony takes care of the defense but they cant play them both at the same time.  Posey could play with either and be effective.

  3. i think they are going to the finals but dont know if they are goin to win the championship again...

  4. I see the future bright for them. They won it last season though Allen was injured most of the time and in other words they were big 2 instead of 3 for a long time except for the final steps of playoffs that Ray starred. Of course they are not too young to be counted on for more and more championships, but if they- the whole team especially big 3- remain healthy, they can win another one or even another two.

However the other teams are being more powerful- like Chicago and Miami with first and second drafted players, Clippers with the trades, Lakers as the previous season,...- but I think the Celtics are still at the top. Maybe the entire league has find out their way of playing, but if they and especially Doc Rivers are smart, they can keep the trophy in Boston.

  5. not a chance.... its either going to be the heat or 76ers

  6. 0.01

  7. WELL THIS IS HOW I FEEL ABOUT THE BOSTON CELTICS TO WIN THEIR 18 TH NBA CHAMPIONCHIP OF THE NBA THIS YEAR I DON'T SEE WHY THEY SHOULDN 'T WIN ANOTHER NBA TITLE.

  8. Cavs all the way!! But i think The celtics have a very good chance especially if paul peirce, kevin garnett, and Ray allen continue to bring there A game.

  9. They have a good chance. There really isn't anyone in the East who can beat them in a 7 game series, depending on how teams like the Sixers, Bucks, Bulls, Cavs, Pistons etc do in the next season. So, they will probably make it to the finals. Unless the Lakers make a move involving Artest or Marion, I don't see them beating the Celtics if they make it to the finals, even with Bynum. So they have a very good chance of repeating.

  10. I think its very slim. The only three players on the Celtics are old and degressing.

  11. I think they have a pretty good shot. but not as good as at a win last year. The hornets are on fire, with their breakout year last year. But now, we have an addition to the team. Posey. With Chris Paul and James Posey on the Hornets, whew! Thats a deadly combonation. AND Stojakavic! Hornets might narrow their chances a slight bit.

    GO HORNETS!!!

  12. The will make it to the Finals and get pounded by the Lakers

  13. Don't think it's going to happen. They'll still do alright in the regular season. But i'm not sure they will get to the Finals next year.

  14. C's will be interesting to watch, but I don't think they're going to win, atleast for another decade. Sure, they're going to make the playoffs, but won't win.

I think it's the spurs turn this year. Every odd year, SPURS WIN!

    In 1999, 2003 ,2005, 2007, possibly 2009! They've never won in an even year, like....2002, or 2006.

I hope the spurs win. They are 4-0 in the NBA Finals!

I like Celtics too...but I think they've had their moment
