I'm just curious. I think he should've retired, but it whatever. I know now if Aaron Rodgers throws one incompletion theres gonna be a stadium full of people screaming for number 4.

What do you think????

  1. the jets did a lot for their offense this off season....though their defense looks weak...but Buffalo and Miami stink....though Miami looks better....the key is the playoffs and there's only 1 spot out there (as the other spot goes to jacksonville every year)...this year the other spot seems to go to Cleveland (as Pittsburg routinely wins the divison)

  2. i'm just glad it's over,i'm tired of the whole thing

  3. I think a person should retire when they no longer have the incentive to play, or their performance is no longer at a high level.  i don't think either applies to Favre.  I think he is still better then alot of the starting QB out there, even at his age.  Yes, hecould have handled his comeback better.  Though, I don't fault him for wanting to play.  It's his life to live.  Why knock a guy for following his passion.

I agree that Aaron will throw interceptions, and receive alot of heckling.   He has some huge shoes to fill.  It's unfair presceding a legend.  The perforamce will be criticized by the fans no matter how well he plays for a 1st year starter.

  4. Yes, i also think brett farve if to old to play, but last year farve had one of his best years, bringing the green bay packers pretty deep in the playoffs. There is alot of pressure on aaron rodgers

  5. im a colts fan, but i love aaron rodgers. im so happy hes gonna be QB and i cant wait for favre to get pounded. its gonna be fun!

  6. I wish he'd stcuk around a little longer. I wanted them to really get stuck in the soap opera. `Cause I'm a Viking Fan!!

  7. I think if Favre wanted to unretire, he had every right to change his mind. Rodgers has a hard year in front of him. Not only does he have to follow Favre's great last season, he'll have fans thinking he's the reason why Favre is playing in NY and not in GB.

  8. I think he could be better used as a QB coach and that's what he will end up being.

  9. The Jets got the short end of the stick, they'll have to put up with Brett's constant threat to retire, while the Packers at least get a 3rd round pick

  10. I hope Favre goes out like Unitas and Namath.

As for your comment regarding Rodgers throwing a pick, sadly you're right.  That's how pathetic cheesehead fans are.  They sat on their hands in 2005 while Favre went wild and threw ridiculous interceptions into ridiculously hopeless coverages.  That's not the worst part, the worst part was when Walking Heart Attack Madden and every other "professional" announcer covered with nonsense excuses like "the receiver ran the wrong route" and any number of other puke inducing excuses for Favre.

  11. I am so happy because I am a major Jets fan and he will take them far.

  12. hahahahaha Jets going to the Super Bowl?? They won't even make the playoffs!  1. Patriots  2. Colts  3. Chargers  4.Browns  5.Jaguars  6. Steelers....

  13. WOW STOP ASKING THIS QUESTION 8 million people did yesterday WOW

  14. i feel bad for rodgers if he makes a bad pass 70,000 people are gonna be screaming number 4, i think they'll get the 2nd round pick.

  15. I think Brett should be allowed to play as long as he is healthy and he can play at a level that is competative in the NFL.

    The problem is, he retired.

If he would have told the Packers that he wanted to play back in March, they could have handled this whole episode much differently.

It is clear they were not interested in Favre coming back, so they could have worked out a much more reasonable and thought out solution than the rediculous senerio we all just witnessed.

Now, Favre has caused a huge distraction the Packers have to deal with and A. Rodgers has to go to practice every day and listen to the fans that are supposed to be supporting him chanting in the stands "we want Favre".

Rodgers is in the last year of his contract. If he is to be the future of the fanchise, then they have to get him on the field, or he will get tired of all the Favre c**p every summer and sign with another team leaving the Packers with no decent QB at all.

There is no one to blame for this whole thing except Favre and his selfish, self centered actions.
