Congratulation to China on winning the Olympics and also to Jamaica on a fantastic performance for such a small country, Australia for continually performing well even if this was not their best olympics. And finally to Team GB for supassing our expectations and producing our best showing for a long long time.   .

Well, seeing a s the IOC has a very tough drug testing program, and there is no evidence that China cheated in any way, I say congratulations to the Chinese.

Well they may have gotten more golds but the U.S. got more medals total  (and had second most golds) and considering China had the home turf advantage I'd say the U.S. won in spirit.

Exactly, it was there home turf, so yes they won fair and square, and america came second (just like vietnam) not first like they think they have. It goes on gold not the overall medals
