Question:

How do you feel about the new invisibility cloak?

ABC's Good Morning America has aired for the second day in a row now an article about the ability to redirect and manipulate light to create an invisibility cloak. I personally think that if this technology did in fact exist, the military would have already bought the rights to it and we wouldn't even know about it. And ... if that were to have happened ... we'd have heard Iraqi storys of how ghosts attacked their insurgent camps. Am I right?

  1. Yes, Iraq's also believed that our tanks had force fields because they didn't know what reactive armor was.

The last I had heard of this technology was that it was still on paper. I believe the furthest they have come is successfully bending light.

The potential of developing this into an invisibility cloak is just one of the many many many uses for this technology.

Oh, and the military technology is usually light years behind that of the private sector. Even though the military has a large budget it just can't compete. The private sector pays better, the brains go where the money is.

  2. Clemente S. Your obviously a perve Lol

Wow that's heaps weird, could be possible, but not possible.

    We gotta have good technology.

  3. its not fully operational and y should they keep it a secret terrorist dont hav technology to counter it.it makes sense to tell everyone so insurgents get scared and lose morale

  4. I'm invisible right now you can't see me right

  5. WHAT!!!! now I can get one to sneek in girls locker room.... lol

  6. Watch out for that guy in the corner of the room behind you next time, take your ear buds out, clean the wax out of your ears, and listen to the story the nice man in the suit is telling. "The microscopic devices aren't actually in a cloak at this point, but they do bend light around their surfaces, researchers headed by Xiang Zhang of the University of California-Berkeley say". But don't worry, I asked and Harry Potter said you could play with it next.
