Where they can see through your clothes and are able to identify things like sexual organs, old scars and pretty much anything. Do you feel its a complete violation of your human rights? Do you agree with it? Is it going to far to have to go through that just to board a plane?

  1. If a person doesn't like it, nobody is forcing them to fly.  If you go to the gym, people see you in the locker room and that's the price you pay to work out.  Same difference.  My understanding is that you are separated into male/female lines to go through the machine, so it is a person of your same gender that is seeing the image.

  2. Not everyone goes through it.  I'm under impression that they don't use this scanner unless a strip search is warranted, then the "customer" is given option of the scanner instead.  In that case, I think it's actually less-intrusive and more respectful of a person's privacy.

But even if it were required... I'm not really bothered.  Like someone else said, if some TSA security guy sees the shape of everything I've got, I seriously doubt he'll be too surprised by what he sees!  Not much different than changing rooms and showers at the gym, and there you never know if some perv is capturing you in their mobile phone's camera.  So, I'm not really bothered by this new technology in airports.

  3. Nope.. I have nothing to be ashamed of.

Its not like they are going to be sitting back there getting their jollies. They are doing this to keep us safer. So if it keeps just one person  from smuggling a weapon onto a plane, Im all for it.

Post 911 is a different world in air travel. We have to get used to this and just except it as a part of life. I travel all the time and almost never have any problems at security lines.
