How do you feel about the word "preggers" or "prego''?

OMG! I can't stand it when people say that!! Why can't they just say "pregnant"? I'm right their with you, I hate it when people say that.

I find them annoying for some reason.

I think they are outplayed...I'm not tryin to be mean or rude to anyone who uses those words but as for my opinion it gets kinda annoying when one person repeatedly says "I'm preggers" "Oh today I told this lady about me being preggers...."

Preggo sounds like the pasta sauce. I hate it when people say that...its like they're just like "Yeah,.... my girlfriends preggo/preggers." It sounds like somethin a pregnant 16 year old would say talking to her friends or something. Ech.

I sometimes refer to the word "prego", but only because the word is too long to type it completely.. It's just a shorter version.. I think it's fine there's nothing wrong with it..

I don't use them (i really don't like them) but it doesn't bother me if other people use them its just not for me.

The great thing about America is that we do have freedom of speech.

So i say pregnant, preggo, preggers and whatever else i make up during typing or talking. I like it, and its my perogative to speak like i want to. So yea, it's cool.

I will use 'preg' or 'preggo' when I text/IM.  I don't really care to be called preggo though, it reminds me of something an elderly woman would name her dog.  I can't help but picture this ugly little matted up dog with jacked up teeth snarling when she calls out, "Here Preggo!"  ;o)

i think prego is fine...but i hate preggers... its sounds a bit too street slang for me!

I hate it. I instantly think of a 12 yr old girl when someone uses the words.

It irritates me as well - so does " baby bump " .
