"Whatever shall become of Michael Cassio,

He's never any thing but your true servant." - Cassio

I know that Cassio is saying this to Desdemo also after Othello has taken away his position as lieutenant.

I think Cassio is showing how much he appreciates Desdemona. What do you think?

How do these lines make you feel? How do you think they would make other people feel?

  1. yes he is showing his appreciation for desdemona because that's the way he is ought to act which is to be a gentleman. take note that Cassio is portrayed as the most venetian man in the play. he possesses the traits of a true gentleman and values his reputation. hope this helps.

  2. Its been so long since ive read this play. I cant recall this certain part but you made me want to read the play again, thanks.

  3. if Cassio is saying this to Desdemonia, I think  Desdemonia knew how faithful Casio is to Othello. He said that to express his  feeling of hurt and rejected by Othello. It would be a feeling that you might feel that after being together in a long relationship and left you for someone else.. I would too.
