How do you feel about your step-parents?

I'm in my mid 20's and have had a step-father and step-mother for over 20 years. In general, I have no complaints and love them very much! But I occassionally have problems with one of them... so I'm curious how other people feel about their step-parents? Please explain why you feel the way you do, whether it is positive, neutral, or negative towards them.

I'm around your age and have never liked my step-mother. She made my life a living h**l and still continues to. Because of her, my sister and I have no relationship with our father. It really sucks because now I have my own son who will grow up not knowing his grandfather.

I have a step-father also, I have no problems with him. He's a pretty good guy. I'm glad my mom found someone like him.

I have had both my step mom has been around for about 15yrs or more when I was younger I used to hate her b/c I felt she was the reason my mom and dad weren’t together but after the years have passed and my dad begging me to give her a chance I have let go of a lot and now we can talk on the phone, we go place together(not alone yet, but as a family) it’s just somethings about her I cant stand like how fake she can be at times but I have grown to look over it. As for my mother’s ex husband he was a total jerk and a pervert…he tried to rape me(ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!)

I like my stepparents. I get along well with them. I've known both my stepmom and stepdad since I was little. If I do have a problem with one of them, it's usually something minor and not a big deal.
