  1. makes me wish they lost lol

  2. It's utterly ridiculous.  Makes me want to hurl.  ^..^

  3. It shows that although they may be physically strong, they're mentally stupid, and gullible to believing anything

  4. Why would God choose to give him/her Olympic glory and make a starving African child die in pain and alone?

Obviously I feel it is complete rubbish for someone to believe God made them more special than someone else.

  5. u got a problem w/ that?

  6. I'm totally a believer of god and i always pray to him for help and of thanks

i believe he created this world and all the sports we play so i thank him for him creating the sport i"m playing for whatever i did or whenever we win

i know this might offend some people so i"m sincerely sorry

    if I did

  7. I like them when they do that! It is good that they follow a religion and they should thank their leaders (i mean like god and jesus) if they feel they helped them to win!

YOu know that POle Vaulter Yelena Isinbywena person, i wonder if she is like praying before she vaults?

  8. I don't particularly care.

  9. It is their choice. It doesn't affect me either way.

  10. I rejoice.

  11. Actually I find it a little offensive, not because they're expressing their religous beliefs, which is fine, but because they're being stupid.

The whole premise of their believe in God is that God is compassionate and loves every human being equally.  By thanking God for winning a medal, it's saying that God didn't help his/ her competitor or more directly, to cause his opponents to falter, isn't that contradictory to the concept of God?

  12. I wonder if they also blame God and/or Jesus Christ after they lose.

  13. i feel good about it. yes, before you ask, GOD DOES belong in sports. he belongs everywhere

  14. It depends on how people feel about God.. Personally I don't care

  15. Thank Buddha for all I care. Does it matter? I'd thank my dog.

  16. It is purely their choice. We shouldn't meddle in their personal affairs for that.

    Hope that answers.

  17. It's nice for a christian. The persons who act so are not telling "Thanks God for help me more than you did for the others competitors", but, they are glad for God blessed them for doing the best what they could and nothing or nobody had prejudiced them.

  18. totally amazing!

    very inspiring as well.

it sets a great example for the rest of the world as well,

to know about our Lord & Savior.

They Should not only praise God after they win, but also if they loose too.

"weither i win or loose i'll still Praise him"
