Well Maria only earns comercially now because it's not like she wins anything.

I guess she deserves it. Federer earns millions from playing a sport whilst Sharapova earns hers from business and fashion or whatever it is she does.

I feel that's not true,LOL. She is one of the highest paid female athlete's but I know she doesn't earn more than him for sure because he has won allot more prize money and endorsement money than her this year and throughout his career. But even if she did I honestly could careless because she works for her money and goody for her, but I still don't like her,LOL.

Roger still earns more than Maria. Roger earned $35 million in the past 12 months. He has been and still is the top earner among all the tennis players.

Maria is the second biggest earner among tennis players. She is also the most paid female athlete. She earns around $26 million a year.

Roger earns more than Maria when it comes to tournament earnings. It's in the endorsements that Maria earns big bucks.

I personally think that the men's and women's tennis is two completely different things. Maria is one of the best female tennis players, and obviously earns a lot of money. She has also won a lot of tournaments.

Roger is second best men's player in the world, and still earns a LOT of money. This season he hasn't been on his best form and that would mean he isn't making as much.

If you look at how much they make from tennis only, you would see that Federer earns more money than her.

But from advertising, they could be really close in earnings as they have a lot of commercials for Nike and other companies,- i think Sharapova earns more money in ads than him-.

In the end, they both deserve the money they're earning coz they've worked so hard to get to where they are now.
