  1. no, GPA's aren't based on what type of A you have. they're based on if you have an A, B, C...

so if you have an A- 90.0%, its the same as an A+100%

that's fair b/c not all schools have the same level of difficulty. some classes are really easy and some are hard. but if you manage to pull through with an A it still shows you're pretty good

  2. you find by adding all the numbers together then dividing, by however many. thats how you get your average grade in a class. to find the GPA i dont really know

  3. I don't know if this is a universal formula for high schools and colleges or if just my university uses it but the GPA's formula is:

A=4, B=3...multiplied by the number of credit hours the class is worth. Add these, then divide by the total number of credit hours. For example:

    2 hour class - A = 4x2=8

    3 hour class - B = 3x3=9

    3 hour class - A = 4x3=12

    4 hour class - C = 2x4=8

    Add 8, 9, 12, and 8 to get 37.

    Add 2, 3, 3, and 4 to get 12.

Divide 37 by 12 to get 3.08 GPA.

    I hope this helps!

  4. Well, a GPA is based on the A, B, C, D, F  grading system. And all those number correlate to a letter. Like 95, 99, and 100 are all As.

To calc. the GPA, A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0. You then add and take the average.

    Let's say your grades in 3 different classes were 85, 95, and 99. That's a B and 2 A's. That's 3+4+4. Then divide that number by 3, and you have the GPA.

  5. i dont think there is a conversion formula
