  1. There is no master link.  A chain break should work on any link.

  2. Clean the chain, if it's greasy or dirty you may not see it. Look closely at the outside edge of each link, one will have a C shaped clip instead of a flat plate. Pop that clip and the link comes apart.

  3. I asked my boys for you. . they all look the same.. it is the one that looks a little different.. it has two holes right.. and  a line through it.. good luck. they all look the freakin same to me .. I just went and had a look..at the bikes..

  4. It passes out Koolaid or promises an alien comet trip to bike heaven

  5. some bikes have it and it's easy to find.  And some bikes can have their chain broken anywhere.

  6. There's a spring loaded pin or clip that slips over the end of the pins that go through the rollers of the chain.  That's the master link.

Some master links have little indents on the pins then you have to flex the chain sideways to relieve the tension on the master link.

  7. The one wearing a crown is a dead giveaway.

  8. chain chain chain.....of fools? it's a long story

  9. Other than SRAM and similar chains on which there is a quick link (that is removed without a tool -- called Powerlink by

SRAM) all of the links are identical.  That is, there is no master link.

The SRAM Powerlink is usually gold anodized and is obviously different from the other links.  On a clean chain it's very easy to find.
