Simple question easy 10 points what do you have to divide...what is like the process to find your GPA. I have all my grades sitting right in front of my so now what?

  1. Turn your percentage grades into letter grades.  Then turn those into grades on a 4.0 scale (below).  Then multiply that number by the number of credits the class was worth, add them all up, and divide by the total number of credits.

    A = A+ = 4.0, A - =3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, B- = 2.7, C+ = 2.3, C = 2.0, C- = 1.7, D+ = 1.3, D = 1.0, D- = 0.7, F = 0.


  2. write the grades (a=4, b=3, etc.) in a column. In the next column, write the number of credits for each class. In the 3rd column, multiply the first column by the 2nd.

    Total the 3rd column.  

    Divide the 3rd column total by the total number of credits. The number should be a number b/n 0 and 4, representing the nearest letter grade (as Eri has listed).
