Question:

How do you find Saniflow systems?

Afternoon. We are thinking about having a toilet in our bathroom, and are looking at a saniflow system. Having two small kids and no bog in the bathroom is interesting!

Some people have told me that they block easily. Is this true and are they hard to fix if they do block?

  1. We had a Saniflo toilet system installed in a downstairs toilet that we had installed in our garage about 8 months ago. The advantage of the system is that it is not necessary to break into the underground pipe work to take away the waste from the Saniflo. The  extractor pipe goes from the loo, up to the ceiling, passes above a false ceiling out of the garage wall, along the side of the house and is joined into the waste down pipe that comes out of the upstairs loo. It is a very efficient system and, up to now, we have had no blockages. However, our friends' system did block but the Saniflo comes with the necessary tools and instructions to effect an unblocking. I think that, if you make sure to follow instructions about what not to put down the loo you should be alright.

  2. There ok and should'nt block if you dont put things you should'nt down them but beware if you do dismantal them make sure you put them back together properly, just been to a customers house where the top came off one and showerd there entire toilet with ****, there fault not the units though i might add

would of been a kodac moment to say the least!!

  3. You can only put pee, poo and certain types of bog paper down there. Quilted bog roll, condoms, a single wet wipe and you are cleaning a mess up.

    Mine regurgitates a blockage, MESSY.

Given the choice, I wouldn't have one, and am looking at relocating my shower room ( as the house already had it installed when we bought it)
