My fiance is looking for a similiar case as his to use as a defense. Although he can't use a case that's not publish, he can look at the findings, right? So how do I look up the case? It's People v. Mitchell (2007). The date is March 8, 2007 and the case number is: C050014. Any help would be appreciated.

  1. What is the court?  Is it state or federal?  Go to the court's website.  Sometimes they'll have access to the filings for no charge or for a small fee.  Otherwise, you can go there and look at the case or call them and pay copy fees and have it mailed to you.
